After the loss of her only son, Joseph, in 1994, Sandra began a path of Spiritual awakening and metaphysical self-study to understand the meaning and purpose of life. Studying Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Psych-K, The Journey Work, Pranic Healing and Reiki, as well as being a trained mediator, Sandra became an ordained Minister. Sandra began her ministry as a Spiritual Metaphysical Counselor in private practice working with children, teens, adults and couples, addressing all types of emotional and self-limiting issues.
Opening the doors to the ATMAS Healing & Enlightenment Center gave Sandra the opportunity to work not only as a counselor, but to be able to reach out to the community with programs and lectures about metaphysics, self-love and empowerment, and to encourage a greater understanding and stronger relationship with God. In 2005, Sandra became a provider for the West Texas Adult Corrections Department, teaching classes to probationers exiting Correctional facilities with drug and/or alcohol addiction, and Character & Cognitive Classes and the STOP Domestic Violence class to Intensive Probation clients.
Sandra is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso and is an Ordained Minister Director through the Universal Brotherhood Movement.
